👋 How It All Started
Sometimes, great partnerships begin in unexpected places.
Rob and Courtney first crossed paths years ago while she was working at a massage clinic — and later reconnected at the gym (which, funny enough, has become a bit of a “recruiting ground” for the RJ Homes Team!).
At the time, Courtney had transitioned into the virtual assistant world during COVID, helping clients remotely with admin support and organization. Rob, always on his phone between workouts, remembers Courtney offering to help out if he ever needed an extra hand — and a few months later, that offer turned into something much bigger.
🧠 From Admin to Marketing Powerhouse
When Courtney first joined RJ Homes Team, her focus was on admin support, helping with day-to-day operations, client coordination, and keeping things running smoothly alongside Ava, our Transaction Coordinator.
But it quickly became clear she had a talent for marketing, organization, and storytelling.
Today, she runs much of our social media, YouTube content scheduling, blog posts, and marketing systems — ensuring every listing, open house, and success story gets the visibility it deserves.
“You don’t realize how much happens behind the scenes until you’re part of it,” Courtney says. “From listings to follow-ups to marketing, there’s always something exciting happening!”
🏡 Why Systems & Teamwork Matter
Rob often says, “There are only three money-making activities in real estate: prospecting, showing homes, and negotiating contracts. Everything else — we handle for our agents.”
That’s where Courtney shines.
She ensures that agents on the RJ Homes Team can focus on clients, knowing that the marketing, admin, and communication systems are all handled efficiently.
From weekly blog updates and social media campaigns to newspaper ads and branded client gifts — Courtney helps make sure the RJ Homes Team is always seen, always connected, and always professional.

One thing that stands out about Courtney’s journey is her commitment to learning.
“I’m still learning something new every day,” she says. “YouTube is great for that — if you don’t know how to do something, someone else out there does. It’s all about staying curious.”
This growth mindset is part of what makes RJ Homes Team thrive. Whether it’s refining marketing systems, launching new community videos, or improving client communication, the goal is always the same — to provide an exceptional experience for every buyer, seller, and team member.
