At just 21 years old, Cole Inacio is proving that age is no barrier when it comes to building a successful career in real estate. With a background in the trades and oilfield industry, Cole brings a unique perspective, fresh energy, and a relentless work ethic to the RJ Homes Team at eXp Realty.

From the Oilfield to Real Estate

Before joining the team, Cole worked in the oilfield, doing demanding mechanical trades work. But after an injury forced him to rethink his path, he made a bold decision: to pursue real estate full-time.

Cole shares that real estate had always been an interest, and with his natural curiosity about homes and strong problem-solving skills, the transition made sense. As he puts it:

“I thought, you know what—I’m young, so why not try out sales and just go for it?”

And that’s exactly what he did.

Jumping in With Both Feet

Unlike many who ease into real estate, Cole jumped straight into the deep end. He joined RJ Homes’ intensive full-time training program, all while completing his Alberta real estate licensing.

For months, Cole balanced daily training sessions, scripting practice, shadowing teammates, and licensing coursework, describing it as “like drinking water from a firehose.”

This hands-on, mentor-driven approach allowed him to learn the business inside and out—not just how to get licensed, but how to actually succeed in real estate.

Growth Through Training & Team Support

Coming from a non-sales background, Cole admits the shift was overwhelming at first. Cold calls and client conversations felt like a “complete 180” compared to working long days on the rigs. But with consistent practice and mentorship, those skills quickly grew into strengths.

Today, Cole has already closed multiple deals and is applying everything he learned in training to real-world situations. He credits the RJ Homes systems, admin support, and collaborative culture for accelerating his success:
